We are pleased to welcome participants to the Green Fleet Program on Saturday afternoons for Term 4, 2023.  This course will include 10 sessions, conducted on the dates listed above (14th October- 16th December).

All sessions will run from approx 14:00 to 16:00.

The GSC Sailing Academy abides by the Australian Sailing instructor/student ratios, hence places are strictly limited.  To avoid disapointment, we recommend registering early.

The registration fee for this course is $400. Includes GSC Junior Sailing Membership for the course duration, usage of Optimist/RS Feva Boat and a Tackers Pack.

Program Focus:

Following the structure and instruction in learn-to-sail programs. Green Fleet is an introduction to coaching and learning to train.

Green Fleet promotes practicing the fundamental skills of sailing, introduces some foundation race skills through training activities in an environment that is enjoyable, without a competition focus.

During the Program sailors are encouraged to take part in freesail activity, and to trial a variety of boats, boards, and other club related activity through age appropriate design.
