Gain the practical skills required for the NSW General Boat Licence with Gosford Sailing Club!
Our next course will run across 3 sesssions on the following dates:
-Saturday 24th June 12:30-4:00pm
-Saturday 8th July 09:00-12:30pm
-Saturday 22nd July 09:00-12:30pm

This course will provide you with practical on-water experience towards applying for a NSW General Boat Licence. The course will include 3 sessions where an experieinced skipper will cover the elements related to practical experience competencies, as outlined in the Boat Drivers Licence Logbook. The lower age limit for training is 12 years old, however,  GSC recommends anyone under the age of 16 to be under the supervision of an adult when operating a powerboat. Following this course you will have sufficient skills and knowledge to safely skipper a small powerboat. You will be able to apply for a NSW General Powerboat Licence, upon successful completion of the Theory Test.
