Join our Crew of Volunteers
GSC is a wonderful club thanks to our amazing Volunteers. We’d love you to join the team, make some friends and together continue to bring great sailing opportunities to our members.
Here’s our current list of Volunteer roles we’re looking to fill. If you have some other skills you’d like to contribute please let us know!

Volunteer Coordinator
- Volunteer Coordinator (Recruitment, engagement & oversee training)
- Volunteer Admin (admin support for our Volunteer Coordinator)
Sailing
- Junior sailing support (Saturdays)
- On-shore Beach Masters (Saturday afternoons Junior and Senior sailing)
- Support boat operators (AS qualifications mandatory)
- Race management personnel (Training provided)
- Twilight sailing race management (Wednesdays 4pm – 8pm)
- Senior sailing PM Saturdays (Mark layers, Support boats)
- Yacht race managment (Starters, Pin boats, Sunday afternoons)
- SailSys Administration
- Measurers
- Equipment auditors
Sailing Academy
- Admin support (Communications/Marketing)
- Foundation Coach (Entry into coaching training)
- Dinghy instructors (Training provided)
- Keel boat instructors (Training provided)
Administration
- Office staff assistant (2 days – 10 hours)
- Membership registrations (Support to members – 4 positions)
