End of Season Sailing Camp
Event information
***Please note that we are monitoring the Blue Green algae situation in the Lower Lakes and Goolwa.***
Currently, the levels are decreasing with the cooler weather and we are hopeful that restrictions will be lifted prior to the camp
IT'S FINALLY HERE!!
Come along and join us for our Annual Sailing Camp at the Goolwa Scout Hall (Daniel Ave, Goolwa North).
Gates open from 9am on Saturday for setting up tents, swags and boats ready to be on the water for 10.30am. We will start with some fun and games then a BYO picnic lunch and some more activities. Afternoon tea will be provided and there'll be a Bonfire on Saturday night and a game of STORM THE LANTERN.
There are unpowered sites throughout the area for setting up camper trailers and plenty of space to pitch a tent or roll out a swag.
Sunday morning we aim to pack up and hit the water about 10.30am for some more activities before sailing back to Goolwa Aquatic Club.
Each family attending is asked to bring a "POTLUCK" dish to be shared for dinner on Saturday night.
Cost is $15 per head or $60 per family with no charge for children under 8.
This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY whole Club event and we would love to see as many Juniors, Youths, Seniors and Volunteers as possible to join us for some Club community time and fun sailing. A parent or guardian will need to be present for children under 16.
Breakfast and snacks will be provided (and Marshmallows for the fire!).
