The purpose of this camp is to give all athletes an opportunity to have significant information on all facets of the game and themselves to support their development that they can take into the summer for training / competing / developing.

• This will complement the work of your primary coach with all primary coaches having the content of the camp shared with them (they are also welcome to attend)
• I would like to thank Wembley Golf Course for providing the facility at no cost to support the development of our athletes in Western Australia

 

Key Information:

• Bring clubs, hat, sunscreen, snacks and everything you would need for golf
• Have a notepad, pen and A4 folder (to store information provided) for the off course workshops
• GolfWA wil be taking photos and videos throughout the day, should you not want to be included, please contact gamedevelopmentandhp@golfwa.org.au directly. This will be kept confidential.

Schedule Overview

• 8.15am Arrival (Meet at PGA office / putting green for welcome)
• 8.30am – 12pm: Practical components and testing at WGC
• 12pm – 12.30pm: Lunch (Players sort this themselves with parents)
• 12.30pm - 3pm: Off Course Workshops at The Boulevard Centre (with 15 minute break / recess)
  - 2 minute drive away, parents required / requested for workshops
• 3pm: Return to Wembley Golf Course for the TDP matchplay team competition
• 3.20pm - 6.30pm: 7 hole Matchplay on Tuart Course (First tee off at 3.32pm)
• 6.30pm - 7pm: Wrap up and depart including prizes and awards for the day
