History of Gold Coast Softball Association
OUR HISTORY
Gold Coast Softball Assoc. was formed on the oval of Broadbeach State School in 1979.
In 1980 they moved to Nerang Football Oval for 6 months.
In 1981 council granted fields at Pizzey Park, Miami.
In 2021 we moved to our new home ground at Coplicks Family Sports Park, Tallebudgera.
Many of our members past and present, have represented the Gold Coast at State Championships as well as representation in various Qld Squads, National Teams and Australian Teams.
Members have also attained National Accreditation in Coaching, Umpiring and Scoring.
Founding Member : Helen Moore.
The Association has 7 Life Members who have worked tirelessly for the game of softball.
