Nominations are now open for the 2025 Hockey QLD Championships 18+ Men’s and Women’s Representative Teams! In 2025, the Hockey Queensland Championship (HQC) will again serve as the primary selection event for the 2025 Brisbane Blaze Train On Squads, the extended 2026 U21 Queensland Squads, and the 2025 Queensland Country Teams. Participation in the Hockey Queensland Championship or obtaining an exemption according to the HQ Selection Policy, is mandatory for all players wishing to be considered for these teams.
🗓 Nomination Period:
📅 Opens: Tuesday, 25th March 2025
💰 Player Levy: $60.00 (non-refundable) – covers turf hire for trials and training sessions.
⚠ Trials & Selection Criteria:
- Players must attend at least 2 of the 3 trial sessions to be eligible for selection.
- If unable to attend, players must email rcd@goldcoasthockey.com before each session.

📅 Tournament Dates:
- Men: 23rd – 25th May 2025
- Women: 30th May – 1st June 2025
🔹 Important: Athletes must be primary registered with GCHA or GCHA selected as your Association of Origin before nominating for selection.
