Last Saturday morning saw GRC run its first indoor rowing competition – which was series 3 of the NSW Indoor Rowing Competition, held at the Sydney Secondary College school gym.  There were more than 60 participants doing 2000m, 1000m, 500m, and 4 x 500m relays erg distances.  Most of our Juniors took to the challenge with some great benchmarking times that all want to beat in the next round.

We are currently discussing working in with other Bay Clubs to run a regular series around the July - September time to help showcase the sport as well as getting athletes ready for the upcoming season.
