Current GRC COVID Rules - Changes in Red

1. Mandatory Check-in by QR Code or book

Ensure you sign-in with the Service NSW QR Code if you are in the shed for any reason.

If you go on the water you still need to write your name and boat into the book.

2. Maximum of 10 people per bay

Be considerate of others. Move in and out of the bays quickly. If rowing an 8+ consider moving it to the grassed area for set up to allow others to use the bay.

3. Maximum of 20 people upstairs

4. Maximum of 15 people using the upstairs exercise equipment

5. Rowing equipment: Wash down boats and oars with soapy water after every use.

6. Gym equipment: Sanitize before and after each use.

7. Coxed boats (8+, 4+)

  1. Cox must wear a mask
  2. Cox must sanitise the cox box and cables

LTR course Sunday 31 January - We need you!

Our next LTR course will start Sunday 31 January and run for 4 weeks.

As previously we would love to have some volunteers. Please email fran@gleberowingclub.org.au

Connecting With Other Members - WhatsApp

As racing season starts (and new year resolutions kick in), we know people are on the lookout to form squads and crews.

There are several Whatsapp groups that help people keep in contact and find missing crew members at the last minute.

If you need help finding people to row with, please ask anyone on the Committee and we can help you get added to the right Whatsapp group.

The list of current groups and instructions on how to join are held on the Key Contacts page of the website: Key Documents and Contacts.

Please check out the groups and ask to be added so you can keep up with your areas of interest.

Working Bee - 6 February

We will have a working bee with focus on boat maintenance Saturday 6 February. Please put it in your diary now.

Lights and Clothing Suppliers

We’ve created a new website page providing buying options for common rowing equipment, as uncovered by GRC members over time.

Note that this page should not be taken as endorsement of or guarantee by GRC as to quality or fit for purpose but it is a good starting point.

If you have additional sources please email them to secretary@gleberowingclub.org.au

Equipment Purchase Suggestions

Boat Booking - Include all crew names - Reminder

Please add all names of each crew member when booking boats.

Entries such as ‘Johnny’s crew’ are not very useful.

Upcoming Regattas

Entries: to regattas@gleberowingclub.org.au by the Friday of the week before the regatta, i.e. minimum of 8 days prior.

Race fees: Have sufficient funds in your race fee account or you will not be entered. If in doubt contact treasurer@gleberowingclub.org.au. Top up your account: PayPal/Credit Card or Direct Deposit
