This week GRC passed a major milestone.  With the acceptance of 7 new members, we now have 202 members.  In addition to simply having more members, our members are spread across all membership groups: Juniors, Students, Seniors, Male and Female.

For those who joined soon after the re-establishment of the Club on the present site it has been an amazing journey.  Just 10 years ago, we needed every able-bodied member to boat a single 8+.  Now we could fill two dozen.

With so many members, we all need to try to keep the sense of community that is at the core of the GRC identity.  Everyone should feel welcome but it can be daunting when you first arrive.  Please, if you see someone you don't know, reach out and introduce yourself.  Make them feel welcome and a part of our community.
