This year has been unconventional, to say the least.

We are proud that GRC is a community focused club and has been for more than 140 years.  We are also proud that during the shutdown, when we couldn't be in boats, that community continued strongly through virtual coaching sessions, and mutual support via a variety of chat, video and social platforms.

However, the Committee is also very aware that the ability to get on the water has been curtailed in the last couple of months.  With this in mind, and after much deliberation, the Committee has taken several decisions on the 2020/21 Membership fees.

1. Fees will remain the same as they were in 2019/20, ie. there will be no fee increase for the 2020/21 year.
2. There will be a fee rebate equivalent to two (2) months of fees for the 2020/21 season  for everyone (excluding Associate Memberships) who renews and pays their 2020/21 Membership fees by 31 July 2021.
3. The option will still be available to pay the normal full fees with no rebate, or to be a Foundation member, for members who wish to support the GRC community in that way.

The Committee is also aware that this period has, and will continue to be, a financially difficult one for many in the community.  As always, if you have financial difficulties please don't let it prevent you renewing your membership. Contact the Treasurer to discuss a confidential payment plan.

There will be further communication on the details of payments and membership rollovers in the coming days but we wanted to provide this update immediately.
