We've had a fantastic day at the Ballarat Regatta today! Our trainee coaches did an excellent job managing all our needs and potential so we all looked great and had a fantastic time! Our friends from Brave Hearts Dragon Boat Club bolstered numbers and shared their skills, contributing beautifully to the success of the day! Our newbies are smiling and did themselves proud in a race especially for new paddlers with less than 6 months experience! Our trainee sweep completed all her sweeping hours to hopefully be accepted as a Level 3 coach! We also had a paddler in the Senior D race! Something to aspire to! AND we bagged some trophies- 2 1st, and 2nd and a 3rd, for our non existant trophy cupboard! (We must do something about that!) Thankyou also to our Club photographer, who pops around us all taking photos that are real! We would still love to welcome some more newbies! Let us know if you would like to come and try dragon boating with us some time soon!!!
