We have had a lot of fun over the weekend at the Chinese Lunar New Year Regatta held at Docklands. The weather was challending, to say the least - Saturdays racing was cancelled (except for the Corpotae racing) due to forcast heat. Sunday was windy and so racing was difficult until a storm cell blew up and forced cancellation early in the afternoon. But our smaller than usual group took on the challenge and bagged 3 trophies to bring home! Thankyou to Mick and Paddy who team manged on the day and Mick Paddy and kim who coached everyone to a competive level! Thank you to Dragon Masters Dragon Boat Club for their positive feedback and encouragement to a young regional team! Thank you to our President- who does so much in the background! Thank you Coaches! Thank you to our Secretary and Treasurer, sorting out accomdation and payments. Thankyou to the boys managing marquees etc. Thankyou to friends and family who came and supported us also! We love to show you what we can do! Thankyou to our photographers - who capture the mood and feel of the day for all us at home to enjoy also!! Thank you to Dragon Boat Victoria for all the planning and organising, and reorganising, and reorganising! And of course thank you to our fellow Dragonboat competitors!
