What is Roller Derby? Roller derby is one of the most exciting sports (if we do say so ourselves!) and there is truly someething for everyone. If you enjoy skating but don't want to make contact with other skaters you can learn footwork, rules and many other aspects of the game while you sus it out and decide what direction you'd like to take (we have members who enjoy being officials and skating at a low contact level rather than progressing to full contact and that's equally as valuable). What if I decide I want to register for Roller Derby after the Come and Try session? Great! Just let one of your friendly trainers know and we will upgrade your insurance ($50). If you don't quite have your white star yet, we will have a conversation with you about when you can join but we are keen to make it as accessible as possible!
