What is Junior Rollers?

Junior Rollers is a fun, recreational learn to skate program for school aged kids and teens of all genders that runs for 1.5 hours over 7 sessions. The focus of the program is for kids and teens to learn the basics of roller skating (how to get up, how to get down, how to start and how to stop) to enable them to skate safely around others. We then introduce some cool "tricks" to extend skaters based on their skill level. Skaters are encouraged to have a growth mindset and to set goals for themselves (instead of comparing themeslves to others). 

 

What about Junior Roller Derby?

Our plan is to run the Junior Rollers program for a few Terms and then introduce Junior Roller Derby if there is interest - so please let us know if this is you or your child!
