Sixteen year old Lachlan Coe has been working hard, traveling back & forth from his home town Casino to Sydney once a week, as he strived to make the Under 19 New South Wales State team.
This is no easy feat, consider FNC Softball does not have a men's competition.
Lachlan was named in the Under 19 NSW Softball side earlier this month and will travel to Perth to compete in the Nationals.
A member of the Casino Softball Club and following in the footsteps of his mother Deidre and grandmother Di, his dedication to training, natural talent and the backing of a supportative family have lead to his success.
Lachlan will be travel to Sydney to play in the Southern Districts mens competition once a week, as well as training with the NSW team right up to the Nationals.
We wish Lachlan and his team the best of luck
