AGM - Flinders Athletic Club

 

The electing of a new committee is an important and detrimental action required at any sporting club and business. We at Flinders Athletic Club would ask you to consider whether you would be interested in nominating for any of the position listed below to serve on the committee.

Flinders Athletic Club Committee meet approximately 8 times per calender year.

Currently at Flinders Athletic Club, we are seeking additional general members.

 

Flinders Athletic Club also has many roles that don’t necessarily require you to be on the formal club committee. In particular, we have an Awards Committee, a Travel Grant Committee (both meet as needed), a Child Safe Officer (training provided), an Official/Volunteers Coordinator, someone to manage sponsorship opportunities, people to assist promoting the club (social Media). These will be advertised separately from the AGM.

 

While a number of committee members are willing to stand and remain in their position, this is a first call for nominations for our elected positions: (a) President; (b) Vice-President; (c) Secretary; (d) Treasurer; (e) Registrar/Statistician; (f) Athletic SA Rep(s); (g) Flinders University Rep(s); and (h) General Committee (6-8) who will take on roles on the committee.
