Section Coaches
Elissa - Findon Head Coach, Masters Section Coach
Elissa has been involved in calisthenics for 30 years, commencing as a Tinie at Hurstbridge Calisthenics Club. Upon it's closure, Elissa joined Findon Calisthenics Club as a Senior. In 2023, she was awarded a Life Membership with the Findon Calisthenics Club, having been a member for 19 years.
Acheiving Level 1 Coaching accreditation in 2010, Elissa has coached within all sections, as well as Skills and Solos. The focus of the year is to improve not only as a team but individually, whilst maintaining the fun and friendships which calisthenics brings.
Outside of Calisthenics, Elissa is a Registered Nurse and a Mum.
Zara - Tinies Section Coach
Zara started Calisthenics in 2008, when her family moved to Australia. She began in Subbies and moved to Findon as a Junior, and has been competing with Findon ever since. Zara started as an assistant in 2015 and has assisted with a variety of sections from Tinies all the way through to Masters.
In 2023 Zara was very excited to be starting her journey as a Level 1 coach with our Beautiful Tinies. Zara’s favourite part of Calisthenics is assisting and coaching our young competitors, as they develop their skills and techniques. Her favourite item is Revue. Outside of Calisthenics Zara works as a Swim and Dance teacher.
Sarah - Sub Juniors Co-Coach
Sarah began calisthenics here at Findon in 1994, as a member of our Tinies team. Her love and passion for the sport grew over the years and she began assisting at the age of 12.
Sarah achieved her Level One coaching accreditation in 2007. She has coached across all age groups, along with solos and the ACF Skills Program. In 2019 Sarah was nominated for Calisthenics Victoria's Coach of the Year. Sarah's other achievements as a coach include winning the Mr Music Man perpetual award from Calisthenics Victoria in 2009 and the Merlyn Kemp Memorial Award from Westside Competition in 2017, along with many aggregates and runners ups as both a coach and competitor. Sarah is also a regular presentor for the Victorian Calisthenics Coaches Association, providing professional development to other coaches within the sport.
Sarah's favourite part of calisthenics is the lifelong friendships that you make. Her favourite item to coach is Rhythmical Aesthetics.
Additionally, she has competed in Graceful Solos and achieved her Grade 4 Pupil Skills. Sarah has competed across all divisions including Championship. Outside of calisthenics, Sarah works as a Prep teacher.
Paige - Sub Juniors Co-Coach
Paige started calisthenics at findon as a Tinie in 2012. She began being a class helper in 2015 and since then has assisted in tinies, subbies, juniors and masters. She began competing in solos in 2017 and still competes in both graceful and cali solos, placing 3rd at state championships in 2023.
Paige achieved her coaching accreditation in 2024 and is very excited to continue her coaching journey Sub-juniors in 2025.
Paige’s favourite item is rhythmical aesthetics and her favourite part of calisthenics is the lifelong friendships she has made through the sport. Outside of Calisthenics Paige is currently in her second year of university studying a bachelor of Education.
Olivia G - Inters Section Coach, Seniors Co-coach
Olivia started calisthenics as a Tinie at Findon in 2012 when she was 7 years old. She began as a class helper at the age of 11 and has helped out with Tinies through to Juniors. Olivia achieved her coaching accreditation in 2023 and had a fabulous year coaching our Juniors last year. She is excited to get more of her ideas onto the stage while coaching the Findon Inters in 2025.
Olivia has competed in solos since 2016 and in 2022 won the State Championships with her Calisthenics Solo. In 2023 Olivia began competing in the Cali Champ Seniors section and can’t wait to continue in 2025. Her favourite item to compete in is Freearm. Olivia’s favourite part of her calisthenics journey is the lifelong friendships she has made along the way. Outside of calisthenics Olivia is completing her 3rd year of uni studying laboratory medicine.
Georgina - Seniors Co-Coach
Georgina has been involved in calisthenics for 20 years, commencing her journey as a tinie at Findon to now competing as a Cali Champ Senior. She started as a class helper with Findon in 2015, achieving her Level 1 coaching accreditation in 2019; coaching all ages from tinies to inters.
Georgina has competed across all divisions and started Graceful solos in 2017. She uses this wealth of knowledge gathered to teach new skills and broaden her teams experiences.
Her favourite item to compete in is clubs and to coach is Rhythmical Aesthetics. Georgina appreciates calisthenics for its boundless creative potential. The lifelong friendships and ability to just move, express emotions through dance and have a distraction from the chaos of everyday life, is a highlight of what calisthenics means and has to offer her. Outside of calisthenics, Georgina works in the chiropractic industry as the 2IC for multiple clinics across VIC, NSW, & QLD.
Foundation Coaches
Charli - Tinies Foundation Coach
Charli started calisthenics at Findon in 2014 as a subbie at the age of 8, with her two sisters and three cousins. Through the years Charli would go on to assist in subbies from 2017-2019 and would return to assisting in 2024 again as a subbies assistant. She started her coaching journey with Findon in 2024, something she has always dreamed of, and can’t wait to see where it progresses.
Charli’s favourite items would have to be March and freearm. Her favourite part about calisthenics is the lifelong friends you make and the endless possibility for creativity and passion within the sport, as well as the distraction from everyday life that the sport offers. Outside of calisthenics Charli works as an educator in before and after school care and is currently studying a Bachelor of Speech Pathology.
Isabella - Sub Juniors Foundation Coach
Isabella began her calisthenics journey at Findon in 2012 as a three-year-old Tinie and has been a proud member of the club ever since. This year, she will compete in her final year as an Inter. Over the years, Isabella has contributed as a class helper for Tinies and is excited to begin her coaching journey in 2025 as a foundation coach for the Subies. In addition to her team comps, Isabella also competes as a graceful soloist.
March is Isabella’s favorite item and she enjoys guiding young performers in learning and achieving their goals. She cherishes everything calisthenics has given her and looks forward to sharing her passion and experience with the Subies team in 2025.
Outside of calisthenics, Isabella is in Year 11 and is currently completing her final year of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education.
Eden - Juniors Foundation Coach
Brooke - Inters Foundation Coach
Brooke started calisthenics in 2009 and began being a class helper in 2017. After competing and helping out at multiple different clubs she found her way to Findon Calisthenics in 2019 as the Juniors assistant. Brooke continues to compete away from Findon however can’t wait to continue her coaching journey with Findon.
Her passion has always been with freearm to compete, however her favourite item to choreograph and teach would definitely be clubs.
Brooke started doing solos in 2010 and continued doing them every year until her last one in 2018. One day Brooke hopes to coach solos as well.
