December Youth Holiday Fencing Training Programme 2019
Whether you are new to fencing, a novice or an experienced fencer, this programme is designed for you. If you have never fenced the minimum age to attend is eight years old. Maximum age limit is 18 years old or Year 13 for our 9am to 3pm session. Advanced fencers have the option to fence until 5pm. Maximum age limit for advanced session is 19 years old.
Venue: The Fencing Institute, 91 Jack Hinton Drive, Addington.
Main Session Times: 9am to 3pm
Extra Advanced Session Only Times: 3:15pm to 5.15pm (ask your coach if this session is suitable for you)
Dates: Monday 16th December to Friday 20th December
Cost: Main Session Cost -9am to 3pm
Full Week: $250 for all sessions (5 days) or $60 per session/day
Advanced Session Cost - 3.15pm to 5.15pm
Full Week: $100 for all sessions(5 days) or $25 per session/day
Attend both a full week of main session and full week of advanced session (ie: 5 days 9am to 5.15pm) $325

Course content including:
Group lessons: Warm up, fitness to prevent injury, competition rules, basic nutrition for sport and armouring plus skill-based training
Individual lessons: Basic to advanced techniques, tactical drills.
Mini Competition.
Equipment: All fencing gear is included in the programme cost.
Coaches: Run by Mid South youth coaches, working to help you/ your child to improve their fencing technique. Advanced fencers will be catered for.
Please bring: Drink bottle, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, small towel for when they get hot fencing.
Dress: Sports top, sweat shirt or tracksuit top in case it is cold, sports shoes, may wear shorts for fitness, fencing breeches or tracksuit pants to wear when fencing.
