2019 Canterbury Schools Competition
When: Saturday 29th June -11:30am to 5:30pm
Time: Saturday -Primary, Intermediate and Secondary School Foil
11:30am Registration Individual Secondary School Foil. There will be two sections to this event, open and novice. A novice fencer is someone who has started fencing in 2019.

12 noon Fencing will start
12:15pm Registration for Primary & Intermediate School Foil & Novice Secondary School Foil. A novice fencer is someone who has started fencing in 2019
2:30pm Registration Sabre & Epee
Where: Riccarton High School Gymnasiums. Enter school by Vicki Street off Curletts Rd. Park in school carpark. The gyms are on the left of the Hall past the 2 storeyed block. follow signs.
Entry Fee: $10 per weapon.

Equipment: All fencers must wear protective clothing and masks in good condition.
Gear Standards: 350N jacket, 350N plastron, 350N mask, lame bib not required, glove, 350N breeches or tracksuit pants, long socks, sports shoes.Chest protectors are compulsory for girls. Weapons will be checked on the piste for Open events and during all direct elimination bouts.
To enter please tell your coach. Also talk to your coach about gear hire.
Canteen: Food and drink is available to be purchased at the hall
