New Zealand National Open & Veteran Competition Dinner 2018

The NZ National Open & Veteran competition dinner will be held on Sunday 21st October at 7.30pm. 

Our dinner will be catered by Casamassima. Casamassima is an Italian cafe/restaurant and is owned by one of Christchurch's fencing families. 

All fencers, parents, partners, supporters, coaches and competition officials are encouraged to attend. The evening will include fabulous Italian fare plus music to give your dancing shoes a workout. 

Venue: Casamassima Restaurant, 48 Salisbury St, Central City. 

Cost: $50 per person. This a three course meal and a soft drink. 

There will be a cash bar selling Italian wines, beer, Grappa and limoncello. Please bring cash as there will be no eftpos facilities. 

Food Allergies: If you have a food allergy please indicate this on your dinner registration so that we can let Casamassima to be able to cater for you.

E-Ticket: When you register for our dinner you will be issued with an e-ticket. Please print this ticket with you to the dinner venue.

Antipasti (Starter): Taglieri di affettati assortiti (Assorted cold cuts and aged cheeses platters) Focaccia Genovese, Focaccia di Recco, Pizzata e Farinata Genovese (Mixed Traditional Focaccias with cheeses and chickpea focaccia Genovese style)

Primi (Pasta Main Course) served in big bowls to share: - Tortellini al Prosciutto con Sugo U’ Tuccu (Typical Prosciutto filled Tortellini with Tomato and slow- cooking Beef sauce) - Lasagne al Pesto (Traditionally-made Basil Pesto Lasagne) - Vegetarian

Dolci (Dessert): Two different type of Italian Tarts, Chocolate or Fruit Jams based, served with Whipped Cream
