Foil - Under 11 (born 2007 or after) & Under 13 (born 2005 or after)

Registration 11:45am – 12:30am

Opening Ceremony 12:30pm

Foil - Student Beginner (1st to 2nd year Secondary School or Student no more than 2 comps) Registration 3:30pm – 3:45pm

Opening Ceremony 3:45pm

Sabre - Student Under 18, Born 2000 or After

Registration 08:30am – 09:00am

Opening Ceremony 09:00am

Competition Start 09:15am

Foil - Students Under 18, Born 2000 or After

Opening Ceremony 10:15am

Competition Start 10:30am

Epee - Students Under 18, Born 2000 or After

Entry Fee $20 per event. Open to Fencing New Zealand/Fencing Mid-South members. Fencers can affiliate at the competition. Ask your club or coach for details.

Event Format: Separation by gender whenever possible. Maxi-fence (2 rounds of pools). Depending upon numbers the Organiser may modify format and categories.

Clothing: 350N Jacket and Plastron, fencing breeches/long socks or long sport pants. Chest protectors for girls. FIE blades and lame bibs NOT required.

For Under 13 fencers we recommended using size 3 or smaller blades (Under 11 size 0), which are more suited to their hands & size (easier to manipulate), than the adult size 5.
