Entry Fee $20 per event. Open to Fencing New Zealand/Fencing Mid-South members. Fencers can affiliate at the competition. Ask your club or coach for details.
Event Format: Separation by gender whenever possible. Maxi-fence (2 rounds of pools). Depending upon numbers the Organiser may modify format and categories.
Clothing: 350N Jacket and Plastron, fencing breeches/long socks or long sport pants. Chest protectors for girls. FIE blades and lame bibs NOT required.
For Under 13 fencers we recommended using size 3 or smaller blades (Under 11 size 0), which are more suited to their hands & size (easier to manipulate), than the adult size 5.
