2024 Memberships

We are excited to advise that our 2024 FCRC membership registration will be available from 1 June 2024 and we look forward to welcoming you all to the new season.

Why join the Falls Creek Race Club?

Falls Creek Race Club has played an important part in the Falls Creek community for over 40 years. Today the clubs aim is to promote snowsport through developing all of the skills of skiing and snowboarding through a positive, fulfilling environment. We are proud to have a membership community of highly engaged and active members past and present. FCRC has an active parent body and there is an emphasis on building community networks along with race preparation and participation.

Membership contributions assists the club financially to source coaches, resources and equipment to develop and facilitate our programs. It contributes to our social events, clubroom maintenance and capital works.

What does your membership include?

Annual membership from the date of purchase
Seasonal access to the FCRC gym & Clubhouse
Full voting rights (for members >16 years of age) and attendance at the FCRC AGM

What types of Memberships are available?

The Falls Creek Race Club offer 3 types of memberships:

Family Membership - for program participant members and parent/guardian member/s. This membership offers costs savings for up to 6 family members.
Social Membership - for committee approved social members
Honary Life Membership - life time members appointed by the committee.

All memberships include membership benefits.

*What is a refundable work levy?

A refundable work levy of $200 is available for all participants (with a limit to 1 (per family).

Falls Creek Race Club relies on volunteers to make our club viable. Volunteers assist with club associated on snow events, club activities, club maintenance, fundraising and social events. A refundable work levy is available to encourage members to volunteer and contribute to the club. The levy is refundable if a member volunteers & completes prescribed tasks/activities. Refunds are processed at the end of the season. To find out how you can assist, please volunteer for events here.

Which membership should I select?

Parent/Guardian Members

A parent/guardian member is required to accompany program participant/s member < 16 years of age in a family membership.
Parent/guardian member should select the 1st family member option when purchasing/renewing a family membership.
Additional parent/guardian member/s can be added as a subsequent family member.
Cost: $300 (includes $200 refundable work levy).

Program Participant Member/s

Program participant members should be part of a family membership where:
Individual program participants > 16 years of age
- are eligible to select 1st family member (for individual member only).
Program participant/s <16 years of age
- must be subsequent member to a parent/guardian member
- are eligible to be a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th family members only.
Multiple program participant/s from the same family
- should be part of a family membership where parent/guardian is the 1st member and other members subsequent members sequentially.
Cost:
- 1st Family Member: $300 (includes $200 refundable work levy*).
- 2nd Family Member: $80
- 3rd - 6th Family Member/s: $60 per member.

Social Members

Social membership is available to individuals that are not participating in any winter sports program and do not have child/ren participating in any winter sports program/s.
Social member must be over the age of 18.
Social member must be approved by FCRC Committee.
All membership benefits are included with exception to club uniform offers.
Cost: $50.

Honorary Life Members

Life membership is an honour bestowed on an individual club member whose exceptional, loyal and outstanding service and contribution has provided measurable benefit to Falls Creek Race Club (FCRC) over an extended period of time.
Life Membership is the highest recognition that can be awarded to a member. Consequently, its awarding is completed in line with a set of criteria. Please see the attached Life Membership at FCRC Policy for further details.

What other costs do I need to consider?

To prepare for the season, consider the following costs:

Race Club Membership fee/s
Falls Creek Winter Sports Progams Fees (Falls Creek Ski Lifts)
Purchase of lift passes (Falls Creek Ski Lifts)
Purchase of Resort Entry (Fall Creek Resort Management)
Purchase of club jacket and equipment (see equipment guidelines)
Annual Snow Australia Skills Assessment, recommended for U14/U16. U12s if needed

How do I register to be a FCRC Member?

To register for FCRC membership, please follow the steps with links and buttons below for all new member or returning members.

NOTE:

An email confirmation will be sent following successful membership registration.
If registering for multiple family members, please register the 1st family member and repeat the registration process via the email confirmation link or buttons on this page for subsequent members.
Program participant member <16 years of age can only be registered following registration of a parent/guardian member (as a 1st family member). They can only be registered as 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th family member.
