Exies Junior Hockey includes players from Kindy through to Year 12. We have teams in the following divisions. Please note these divisions reflect the school year in which the child is in, and not their age.
- J2 & Under (Kindy, Preprimary, Year 1 and Year 2)
- J3/4 (Year 3 and Year 4)

*Juniors who are ALSO playing Seniors are able to initially register for just their Junior age group, and then be invoiced for the senior portion of their fees at a later date.
Season Dates
Hockey is played in school Term 2 and Term 3, with games commencing the week beginning Monday 15th April (Term 2, Week 1). There are no games played during school holidays.
Junior Games
J9/12 teams will play each Wednesday night, rotating through 4:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm and 7:30pm timeslots.
J7/8 teams will play on Saturday mornings, with the games being played at 9am and 11am.
J5/6 teams play on Friday nights rotating through 4:30pm and 5:30pm timeslots
J3/4 teams are mixed gender teams that play at 10:00am each Saturday morning. This year games will be played on a combination of the grass fields as well as the artificial turf.
J2 & Under teams come together on Saturday mornings at 9:00am and have a 30 minute training session with their coach. The group then splits off into smaller teams and play 30 min games against opposition clubs. These are mixed gender teams. All new players will receive a free Hockey stick, playing socks and a beanie.
Training
All teams will train on Thursday night from 5:00pm - 6:00pm on the artificial turf, except for the J2 & Under team who train on Saturday mornings before their game.
