Expressions of Interest
Narrogin Junior Carnival 2022
Saturday 16th – Sunday 17th July
Year 4 to Year 10 players only.
Exies Hockey Club is looking for expressions of interest from junior players to attend the Narrogin Junior Hockey Carnival this year. We are hoping to make up teams with players from all Bunbury clubs and need to get an indication of player numbers to assist in nominating teams and securing accommodation.
There are five different divisions as below:
Year 5/6 Boys, Year 5/6 Girls, Year 7/8 Boys, Year 7/8 Girls, Year 9/10 Mixed.
Year 4 players will also be considered to help fill Year 5/6 teams.
If your child is interested in attending the carnival, please "nominate" to show their interest.
Things to consider
The carnival is held on the last weekend of the July school holidays and has us returning to Bunbury on Sunday evening.
This is an overnight stay and parent numbers may be limited. There may not be room for you as a parent to attend with your child.
We will be staying at the Narrogin Residental Hostel with a number of other travelling teams. Most players will have a single room to themselves, however some will be sharing a group space.
There is a cost of approximately $100 per player to cover food, accommodation, travel, umpiring and team entry. For parents wanting to attend, they are charged approximately $60 to cover food, accommodation, and travel expenses.
Games are predominantly played on grass, with some teams getting one turf game. Weather is usually cold and wet, but the kids always have a fantastic time and look forward to going back year after year.
