This season the following rules are applicable to the Eurobodalla mixed indoor hockey competition:

1. Teams need a minimum 4 players to take the field.
2. A maximum of 3 men (males aged 15 years or older on 1 January 2022) on the field, per team.
3. Teams may borrow up to 2 players (only 1 male) from any other team if they are short, to bring their numbers up to 6.
4. If you have 6 players, you can’t borrow extra players for substitutes
5. No borrowing players for finals.
6. Players must not raise the ball off the pitch even for a shot at goal.
7. It is not an offence if the ball rises unintentionally off the pitch by less than 100mm unless an opponent is within playing distance of the ball.
8. Field players must not play the ball while lying on the pitch or with a knee, arm or hand on the pitch, other than the hand holding the stick.
9. Sticks cannot be lifted past shoulder height.
10. Players must be at least 12 years old to take the field.
