Promotion and Relegation
Welcome to the gauntlet. The promotion and relegation from Intervarsity to Oceanic Developmental Tournament. The aims of the Gauntlet are to empower OCE players. This is to ensure that there is a pathway which fosters player and team development but also maintains competitive integrity and keeps the ecosystem dynamic. The Gauntlet bridges the gap between university-level play and semi-professional competition, ensuring that talent is continuously developed, nurtured and promoted, which is vital for the growth and sustainability of OCE. The phrase 'The Gauntlet' was termed during commentary in split 1 2024 by casters. Already with Split 1 2024, the promotion and relegation has grown to include Division 3.
Split 1 Promotion and Relegation Rounds are active here
