2024 Penalty Index
This Penalty Index is a guideline for discipline and applicable to most violations across both ODT and OLI competitions. Players, Coaches, Team representatives should make themselves familiar with Global Esports Code of Conduct and RIOT Games Penalties Index (for professional and semi professional esports). Self-reporting is the only mitigating factor currently recognised by the Tournament Administration. Circumstances of aggravation includes non-cooperation, deception and targeted harassment of players and staff. Due process will be followed in all matters and is reviewed.
Here is the Rulings, Sanctions and Penalties Register 2024 and ongoing.
Serve and serious conduct may also result in additional impact for students with their own universities Code of Conduct and policies for intervarsity sport.
QUT Sport will offer Oceanic competitors to attend optional training with industry professionals for their development, professionalism, and online resilience. We are committed to making OCE the best community and best athletes online.
Note that behaviour in other competitions have resulted in permanent bans, suspension, and large fines as well as required competitors to complete educational training before lifting suspensions. List of competitive rulings on banning, suspending, and fining players is located here for your information and the Global Suspension Database can be viewed here.
