L1 Umpire HockeyEd Course - Esperance

- Looking to take the next step in your hockey umpiring?
- Well now you can by registering to take part in Hockey WA’s Level 1 Umpire Course.
- Designed to train umpires in the fundamental concepts of umpiring including fitness, positioning, signals and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of players.
- The program is directed towards parents, players and umpires who are involved in umpiring club hockey, Intra-state Championships and low level National Championships.
- All participants must complete training program involving an online learning session, an applied learning quiz, a one day practical course and a practical evaluation.

L1 Coach HockeyEd Course – Esperance
Part 1: Fri 3 April 2020 6- 8.30pm
Part 2: Sat 4 April 2020 12-5pm
Hockey WA are delighted to offer a HockeyEd Level 1 Coach Education Program in Esperance.
- The program is directed towards teachers, parents, players and coaches who are involved in coaching modified versions of the game or club hockey.
- The program covers all basic technical skills as well as using these skills to create a fun, safe and engaging hockey environment through small sided games for juniors and seniors.
- Cost $50
To attend the course you must do the following before the coaching course:
1. Register for the course in this portal
2. Register for a free AIS account and complete the ASC Community Coaching Principles Certificate

U12 Regional Development Clinics - Esperance

Purpose
- Preparation for participants trialling for SSWA U12's
- Pre-season preparation for anyone aspiring to improve
- Develop long term health and wellbeing through Physical Literacy initiatives
General Information
- Double header Sat / Sun sessions, 9am - 11.30am
- Open to anyone born in 2008, 2009 and 2010
- Cost: $50
- 5 hours of onfield training time
Program Content
- The key focuses of the program are physical literacy, technical development and game sense through engaging small sided games
- Athletes will train in groups of 10-12 to maximise touches of the ball and skill development
