Erina Hockey club is one of the inaugural founding clubs of the Central Coast Hockey Association.
In 2023 we have 97 members spread across womens, mens and junior competitions, catering for all ages, skills and abilities. Currently with teams in junior under 17 competition, mens division 1, 2 and 3 and womens division 1 and 2 teams and womens Wednesday night competition. Amongst our players we have junior Hockey NSW squad members, NSW Masters players and a former Australian Kookaburra as player/coach of our Division 1 Men's team.
Erina was founded by Clare Crawford and Elaine Johnston in 1975 as a womens club with the later addition of the Mens divisions in 2007. Erina Hockey Club has proudly grown over time and is consistently one of the largest clubs on the coast.
Our players stretch from Coast to Coast, Umina Beach to Newcastle, Davistown to Somersby and everywhere in between. We are a vibrant club with strong leaders and a bright future for many of our budding juniors, we are firmly involved in and planted in the community, looking to make a difference to the wellbeing of our members and those around them by supporting an active lifestyle through such a great recreational sport.
