Take your adaptive snowsport guiding skills to the next level with your Level 2 Adaptive Guide Training.
Your experience level
- Have successfully completed Level 1 Guide Training
- Have secondary guided a stand up skier
- Have some or no experience primary guiding a stand up skier
- Have secondary guided a sit-skier
You may learn
- The different ways to guide a stand up skier with disabilities
- Setting up and adjusting stand up outriggers
- How to use tip clamps, tethers, spacer bars, horizontal poles and other guide assist techniques
- How to guide a skier with a vision impairment
- Primary sit-ski guiding techniques
How to register
- Apply for DWA Associate Membership
- Click register
- Answer all relevant questions
- Select either:
- Accommodation and Training - if you would like DWA to provide accommodation at Howmans Gap
- Training only - if you don't need accommodation
- Submit registration
