Goodyear states for their Eagle Land Speed tyre. Maximum recommended speed is 300 mph at specified inflation and load.
Goodyear does not rate, nor recommend, the Standard Frontrunner tyre for Land Speed Racing. For furthere specifications on these or other Goodyear Racing Tyres, see the catalog or call the manufacturer.
Note:
1. These are the maximum load and speed recommendations only, always allow yourself a good margin of safety.
2. Inspect tyres oftern for any signs of problems
3. Be aware of load rating on Tyre and how you are loading the tyre.
4. Never run less than recommended tyre pressure. You will not go faster. Actually higher tyre pressure causes excessive sidewall deflection that can causeexcessive sidewall deflection that can result in catastrophic tyre failure. The low the pressure themore the tyre is carrying the load instead of the air or nitrogen.
5. Nitrogen is preferred over air. It will keep the inside of the tyre dry and expands much less in heat. Air can gain up to 10 lbs. from cold morning to hot daytime conditions. Watch this.
6. With high pressure racing tyres, you must use the very best racing wheels.
7. For specifications on other type of racing tyres contact the manufacturer.

SPEED CATEGORY
Speed Symbol - A symbol indicating the speed category at whicha tyre can carry a load corresponding to it's load index under specified service conditions.
Speed Category - A category assigned to a tyre which denotes the maximum speed for which the use of the tyre is rated.

Where the tyre size designation includes the letters 'ZR' followed by a service description, the speed category is that indicated by the Service Description.
'ZR' tyres with no service description have a speed capability of 'over 240km/h'. Consult the tyre manufacturer for the actual speed capability of the tyre.
'ZR' must appear in the tyre size designation of tyres having a maximum capability over 300 km/h
