START LINE PROCEDURES - ALL COMPETITORS
To ensure an orderly and safe start line the following suggestions are recommended.
When coming to the start line please position your vehicle directly behind the competitor in front of you, in an orderly single lane queue. Queue jumping will not be tollerated, if an entrant is found queue jumping they will be instructed to proceed to the end of the queue or be shown a yellow card and not permitted to run that day.
You should start getting ready 3 vehicles back from the startline, this allows time for the Starters Assistant to perform their checks..
If you are not ready or something goes wrong with your vehcle, we don't have the time to wait and the next vehicle will be called, but don't panic, you will get your turn.
NOTE: Prefential treatment is afforded to officials and volunteers who are working all week, but also competing. Special times will be allocated for very high speed vehicles or entrants attempting a significant record run. Entrants must consult the Race Director to be considered for this special privledge and must notify the Chief Starter before moving in the queue.
