Rule Book
The 2025 DLRA Rule Book has now been published.
The DLRA rule book contains the rules and regulations for entrants and their vehicles to compete at the DLRA Speed Week. It is strongly recommended that entrants read and understand the rules and regulations so that they may comply. Speed Week at Lake Gairdner is a long way to go, to find out you can't race.
The DLRA rule book was originally based upon the Southern California Timing Association rule book and annual SCTA revisions are reviewed by the DLRA Rules Committe before being added to the DLRA rule book. There are also many instances of rules and regulations that are particular to the DLRA Speed Week.
Note There is a recomendation for all cars that are capable of 175mph and higher to supply a weight chart when presenting for vehicle inspection, this is the weight over each wheel. This will be used to help entrants to present a well balanced and safer at speed vehicle. Optionally entrants can choose to determine their vehicles Centre of Gravity and Centre of Pressure. Please take the time to read this document which explains it all.- Race Car Engineering.
If you want a printed version, they are for sale ($25 plus $20 postage), please email treasurer@dlra.org.au
