In light of this announcement from Water Polo ACT (https://www.actwaterpolo.com/n…/wpact-statement-on-covid-19/) to postpone the 19/20 summer competition, the Dragon’s Board has made the good common sense decision to minimise risk on our members and their families by cancelling training for the short term and postponing our presentation afternoon.

While the season has not been ideal with numerous disruptions from the extreme conditions of the Australian Summer and now OCVID-19, let’s not forget to celebrate the wonderful achievements Dragons have had this season. These include abundance of participation in our local competition, a fantastic representation of Dragons athletes across the Canberra Dolphins teams, great water polo at both the junior and senior NSW club championships, we had three athletes take home a gold medal from the respective teams at AYC (Noah, Tom and Ellie) and let’s not forget to congratulate Zoe on her selection into the B04 Aussie training squad.

Well done everyone and thank you for your patience as we work through this unprecedented event. We will be touch shortly and look forward to seeing you all back on the pool deck soon.
