Age Groups

• 12&U (2011 & later) Mixed – born 2010 can participate if not playing 14s
• 14&U (2009 & later) Boys and Girls
• 16&U (2007 & later) Boys and Girls
• Youth League Boys and Girls 
  • 19&U (born 2004 or later) which aligns with the WPA 19&U NSC competition
  • Up to 2 “Marquee players” born 2000 or later can be added to help as leaders in the team. Small/newer clubs can engage marquee players from other clubs to help create a competitive competition if they do not have access to players in their own club.

Dates/Times

Round 2:

• Saturday 3^rd June 2023 – 9am – 6pm (12s, 14s & 16s)
  • AIS - overflow games at CISAC if needed
• Sunday 4^th June 2023 – 9am-6pm (Youth League)
  • CISAC

Fees

• $30 per individual player (can play in multiple teams/grades)
• Youth League athletes would be charged $30 separately due to the lower anticipated numbers than 12s, 14s and 16s.

Game Structure

12s, 14s & 16s

• Games will be played in a “half width pool” with 2x10min running time halves with 2 min break at half time (teams won’t swap ends to help speed up games) in 30min timeslots.
• No shot clocks to be used.
• Teams will play 3 games per day.

Youth League

• Games are played in a full field with 4x4min actual time quarters in 40min timeslots.
• Shot clocks will be used.
• Teams will play 2-3 games per day.

Duty Teams

We require each team to supply 1 person to do table for their OWN game. 1 person will do the scorecard and the other will “flip” the score tally. Both games will run off the one clock with no shot clocks being used.

Team Sizes

12s, 14s & 16s

Games will be played with 1 GK and 4 field players. Squads are a maximum of 10 players.

Youth League

Games will be played with 1 GK and 6 field players. Squads are a maximum of 15 players.
