Next year marks the 30th anniversary of Abreast In A Boat—the world’s first breast cancer dragon boat club! To celebrate, we’re heading to North America’s largest annual dragon boat regatta, the Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival, taking place June 20-22, 2025, in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Important Information:
- In North America, only paddlers who have had breast cancer can race on breast cancer teams, meaning supporters unfortunately won’t be able to paddle. However, we would love for our amazing supporters to join us on this incredible trip!
- The event requires a full crew of 22. The estimated cost per paddler will be approximately A$135,
- Your registration fee covers race participation, welcome receptions, exclusive events, gifts, meetups, and more.
- Racing will consist of four 500m races in the Breast Cancer Survivor (BCS) category across the two main festival days.
- We’ll need to arrive in Vancouver by Thursday, June 18, staying for four nights, and departing on Monday, June 22.
