Social Nights

Deviot Sailing Club now has a regular social night to be held every 3rd Friday in the month from 6 till 11 pm.
Members of the local community, Deviot Club Members, and even Members of the other Tamar River Sailing clubs are welcome. Whilst membership is not essential any people coming to these events regularly will be expected to join the club.

The evening offers local wines, beers, cider, coffee, tea & soft drinks. Light snacks are provided including cheese, biscuits, chips and hot savouries.

The aim of this social evening is to further bring together the local community (those with and without nautical interests) and the sailing club. We also expect it will give past members a reason to come back to the club to catch up with friends.

These evenings will assist the club in raising much needed funds required to upgrade and renovate the club's current facilities. It is hoped these upgrades will be able to benefit the local community as well as the sailors.

Our Liquor Permit requires that all people purchasing alcohol at the club purchase the alcohol for consumption at the club only and must be either members or signed in as a guest of a Full Member. Deviot Sailing Club requires that any regular visitor to the club at least holds either a social membership with Deviot, or a membership with the other Tamar River clubs who currently enjoy reciprocal rights. A pro-rata rate for Social Membership is available for people who sign up mid-season. Deviot Membership currently runs from 1st July until 30th June each year.
