Following a slightly earlier Winter break, our members are now back in full swing and  training hard, supporting our 16 Club Crew World Championship squad members who are preparing for the tough World Championship competition in Ravenna, Italy in September.  It is terrific to feel the vibe amongst all club members as we support our squad members.  This is the first opportunity for Derwent Storms to participate in the World Club Crew Championships.  Our Senior C Open's 10s crews will be competing in the 200 metre, 500 metre and 2000 metre events against the top club teams in the world.  It is certainly an exciting time as our club, and particularly our squad members, prepare themselves for the tough competition.
