It has been a pleasure to host 20 students from Montrose Bay High School's Grade 7/8 PE Extension program. Over the past two weeks, these students have been introduced to the wonderful sport of Dragon Boating and have become adept at working together as a team.

For many of these students, it was their first time in a boat, but they quickly learned to paddle well and enjoyed a scenic trip under the Tasman Bridge. Of course, with two boats, we couldn't resist the thrill of racing! Everyone looked fantastic, and there were smiles all around from both the students and the Derwent Storms volunteers who made this activity possible.

We hope to see some of these students return in the future!
