Welcome to the home of the Derwent Storms Dragon Boat Club.
We are a sporting dragon boat club and paddle on the beautiful Derwent River with our clubrooms located at the Motor Yacht Club, 1 Ford Parade in Lindisfarne.
Our club provides paddlers with the opportunity to represent their State, and we have done so by sending a Tasmanian team to the Australian Championships since 2010. Some of our members have been selected into the Australian team, competing at World Championships on numerous occasions.
New members are very welcome. The club caters for paddlers with fitness and skills ranging from beginners to high intensity sports paddlers, giving opportunities for a vast range of paddling experiences locally, nationally and internationally.
Season 2024/25 off to a flying start
Following a slightly earlier Winter break, our members are now back in full swing and training hard, supporting our 16 Club Crew World Championship squad members who are preparing for the tough World Championship competition in Ravenna, Italy in September.

On Sunday August 4th, we will be celebrating with our squad members who are preparing to travel to Italy to compete in the Club Crew World Championships.
Our AGM will be held on Saturday August 10 and 10.30am. Elections will be held for President, Secretary and up to 7 general committee members for 2024/25.
