A comprehensive introduction to navigation suitable for beginners and more experienced skippers alike. We cover coastal navigation from the ground up, so this course will equip anyone with the necessary knowledge to safely navigate inshore and coastal waters.
You’ll learn about charts, using a compass, position fixing, tides and tidal streams, electronic navigation, meteorology and passage planning.
This course serves as preparation for the RYA Day Skipper course.
