Marine Diesel Engine Course

Event information

Registration for this event closes at Sun 12 Jan 2025 16:00.

All too often Marine Rescue services are called out to attend to engine breakdowns, and in many cases these could have been avoided if the skippers had carried out some routine maintenance or simple trouble- shooting.

The aim of the Diesel Engine course is to prevent machinery breakdown at sea. If you do have mechanical problems this course will teach you how to get going again. As a crew member on a racing or cruising sailboat this course will extend your maritime skills and enhance your value as a crew member.
