The MAST Motor Boat Provisional licence for children 12 to 17 years is a great way to get children engaged with responsible boating. 

The MAST Motor Boat Course is an INTENSIVE course delivered by SailTrain instructors accredited (MSTTV011) with Marine and Safety Tasmania.

The course includes a practical session in a motor boat, a theory session, and an exam. Please ensure you have obtained and understand the Tasmanian Safe Boating Handbook, a publication available at the Derwent Sailing Squadron, Marine and Safety Tasmania and Service Tasmania.
