Welcome to the Derwent Hockey Club!
Derwent Hockey Club has one of the most successful hockey programs in Tasmania.
Based at the Tasmanian Hockey Centre in New Town – there are opportunities for players of all ages, fielding teams across juniors, seniors and masters.
Derwent has the right program to suit all levels from those new to hockey, elite players and all those in between.
Last night at our presentation evening the club inducted our 28th life member. Congratulations Mark Smith! One of the quieter club members who for the past 45 years has in the background completed a range of activities such as coaching at a junior level, being involved in the stick2hockey program and club photographer. It is the cumulative effort over this long tenure of time that was recognised by the club.
