Competitors once again took to the waters of Darling Harbour on the weekend as dragon boat racing returns to the Sydney Lunar Festival program for the first time since 2020.

  MEMBERSHIP FEE REDUCTION

Membership Fee Reduction

DBNSW is pleased to announce that individual registration fees will be discounted for the remained of the 2021-22 season.

DBNSW hopes this reduction in fees encourages one of the 180+ people who have activated Dragon Pass or 1 of the corporate crews from the Lunar New Year Regatta to take our membership with one of our 60+ fantastic clubs across the state and continues the growth we are seeing in the sport.

The following fees will apply;

  • Adult Membership $60
  • Young Adult $40
  • Junior Membership $25

Memberships purchased during this period will be valid until 30 June 2021.

  FAREWELL AND THANKS

Farewell & Thanks

Dragon Boats NSW is sad to announce that we will be losing 2 members of the DBNSW team Mal Wills and Natalie Trajcevski.

Mal’s contribution to the sport of Dragon Boat racing and to our NSW club community has been exceptional. A member of Dragon Boats NSW Inc since 2006 and part of the DBNSW Staff since 2013, Mal has become one of our bigger personalities since he took on the often thankless and difficult task of managing our fleet of boats and coordinating our equipment across the state.

Despite Mal stepping back and into retirement I guarantee he won’t disappear from the Dragon Boat landscape all together.

Nat's contribution as Program and Events Coordinator has seen a big transformation in the professionalism of our regattas. Her passion for the sport and determination to continuously improve the delivery of our events and programs is to be commended and we wish her well as she embarks on a move to QLD.
