For those with sailing experience (completed Tackers 2 course or higher) we will be offering a Sailing Intensive three-day course 9am to 3pm 24th – 26th January. This will feature destination sails, racing tips and will culminate in joining the adult racecourse on Sunday.

NOTE: Sailors must have completed Tackers 2 or be confident sailors who can launch and land independently, tack and sail around a triangle course.

What to bring?

All sailors are required to wear a lifejacket, hat, sunscreen and shoes (old runners, wetsuits boots, crocs etc, NOT thongs) during the coaching sessions. DBYC do not provide life jackets to sailors so please BYO (these can be purchased from outdoor stores such as Anaconda, Sport Phillip Marine and BCF). Wetsuits are recommended, as the water is quite cold. Please bring a full water bottle, lunch, towel and a change of clothes each day.
