YouthSail Northern Territory

REGISTRATIONS FOR 2025 OPEN NOW!

YouthSail Northern Territory is the premier Youth and Junior sailing event in the Top End! This event is open to all Australian Sailing affiliated sailors both in the NT and Interstate.

The 2025 YouthSail Northern Territory event includes a three day coaching camp with top coaches from the NT and Interstate followed by the three day Northern Territory Youth Championships.

Darwin Sailing Club will host this event from Monday 30th June to Saturday 5th July 2025. As it is tourist season in Darwin, accommodation requires early booking, so if you are planning to attend - book your accommodation today!

The 3 day (1 day for the Opti class) coaching clinic is run by Australian Sailing qualified coaches.

Put your skills to the test in the 3 day Youth Championship regatta, with some amazing prizes to be won from our sponsors - generous gift vouchers from Zhik and amazing prizes from Ronstan, thanks to Nautical Supplies.

New to Racing and YouthSail?
The Green fleet (previously JuniorSail) is targeted towards sailors who have recently completed or are participating in our Blue/Red/Green Fleets and Adventure Club learn to sail programs or equivalent. The fleet is centred around having fun and learning new skills as a friendly introduction to racing. It is composed of a 1-day training camp followed by a 2-day regatta conducted by qualified instructors/foundation coaches and is an ideal way to participate in your first regatta.

YouthSail is focussed on growing participation in junior and youth classes, increasing sailors’ skills, fostering social connection, and building friendship and community between our youth sailors.

ILCA 4 (Single Handed)
ILCA 6 (Single Handed)
Minnow (Single Handed)
Wing Foil (Single Handed)
International Cadet (Double Handed)
RS Quest (Triple Handed)
Any other class that has 4 or more boats competing.
