NT Womens Regatta

The NTWR is designed to develop women’s sailing skills and to promote and increase awareness of women is sailing. This annual regatta assists female sailors to improve racing skills, leadership and decision-making and to challenge themselves to compete with like minded women. We aim to create friendships and to ensure all competitors and volunteers sailing experiences at the Darwin Sailing Club are not only educational but fun and rewarding.

SCHEDULE:

THU 04th JULY - WELCOME and BRIEFING

Regatta briefing where we can inform the participants of the racing format and provide a chance to ask questions of the Race Officer, enjoy the sunset and get to meet fellow sailors.

FRI 05th JULY - Social Event @ DSC 1730

A chance to unwind and debrief after a day on the water. Results will be available as soon as possible after racing. There will be food, drink and the opportunity for post-race banter.

As a competitor you have ONE ticket included in your registration fees.

Cost is $15 per person.

SUN 07th JULY - Presentation @ DSC 1800

There will be dinner available and prizes/trophies will be awarded, as well as entertainment to celebrate the completion of the NT Womens Regatta.

Individual Registration Fee includes ONE ticket for this event.
