The Training Academy had the incredible opportunity to tour the Amerigo Vespucci, Italian Navy Ship! The application processes included submitting a project, artwork or essay about environmental sustainability through the program Sail4Change. 3 dedicated junior sailors from the Club submitted projects and were selected for a private tour lead by an Italian Naval Officer, Aurora, aboard the Amerigo Vespucci! Congrats to the selected winners Kiera Hall, Xandor Wienekamp & Lomoso Hilly. ‘The Most Beautiful Ship in the World’ lives up to its famous nickname! Check out some fun facts we learned, pictures of the tour, and the kiddos environmental projects!
